The ELOY Business Shower is designed to equip women small business owners with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.

Through expert advice, practical tips, and inspiring stories, attendees gained valuable insights into navigating challenges and seizing opportunities. The Abuja event demonstrated the value of the ELOY Business Shower as a platform for small business owners to connect, learn, and grow.

Attendees praised the event for its informative content, engaging speakers, and opportunities for networking and collaboration. The participants in Abuja had these to say about the ELOY Business Shower: Atsumbe Esther, a lawyer and IP consultant, shared that she “learnt to intentionally curate her perception and not take others’ perception too seriously.” She also mentioned how much she enjoyed the financial literacy class and even left with a lovely pair of earrings from one of the jewellery vendors during the gift exchange. Bunmi, C.O.O and Founder of Arry Interiors, described the experience as “mind-blowing.”

She highlighted key lessons such as: Believing in herself and her capabilities, opening a trust fund for herself and her children, applying the 50/30/20 savings rule. She particularly loved Madam Merola’s session about knowing your value and confidently charging your worth, as well as the powerful reminder that “not everyone is your client.” Bunmi also appreciated the intentionality behind the gifts and packages, noting that “you don’t see that in every business meeting.”

We are proud to be leaving lasting impressions through knowledge, connections, and intentional touches.

With the Abuja event being a resounding success, the ELOY Awards Foundation is now preparing to take the ELOY Business Shower on the road to Ogun (10th July), Akwa Ibom (17th July) and Lagos (19th July) states. This state tour aims to reach even more women entrepreneurs and small business owners, providing them with the tools, information on and access to affordable finance (provided by the Bank of Industry and Stanbic IBTC), visibility, mentoring and support they need to thrive.
